Getting ready for the holidays!

Even in these crazy times, we have so much to be thankful for! I always look forward to spending the holidays with my family including kids, siblings and their spouses but guess that will have to wait until next year.

Here are a few ideas on decorating your table, even if this year’s celebration calls for a smaller group than normal. Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving, no matter how it’s spent!

Setting the Table!

I love a beautifully set table for any occasion, but have to say my favorite is Thanksgiving. It can be a traditional setting with autumnal tones seen in the pumpkin-orange napkins, greenery and the warm tones of the farmhouse table.

Or, it can be an ethereal setting of whites & gold as seen in the place setting below. Love the contrast of the warm, wood table with the white, silver and gold tableware.

One of my favorites was done by my sister-in-law for Thanksgiving last year in a rustic Farmhouse vibe. Best of all was having both of our families celebrating the holiday together, but more importantly sharing the love of family and friends and reminiscing about those who are no longer with us, but always there in spirit!

Yummy Recipes

Foodie Alert!

Realizing I have a thing for pies! This Gingersnap Pumpkin Pie looks decadent and so Yummy!

There are plenty of recipes in this article & if you don’t find a pie here that you just have to bake, I can’t help you 🙂

I usually get tasked with making the gravy at our family gatherings. It was my mom’s recipe which included pan drippings and giblets but reconsidering after looking at some of these recipes!

AND AS PROMISED, THE FINISHED PHOTOS OF SPA MASTER BATH FOR WHICH MY CLIENT IS VERY THANKFUL!
